Description

Charles IV. Trinidad Reserve showcases the more elegant side of Caribbean rum. It is crafted from a selection of Trinidad rums of varying ages, creating a harmonious and perfectly balanced profile that reflects the distinctive style of Trinidad & Tobago.

The rum was tropically aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks in the Caribbean, where it developed smoothness, roundness, and a pleasantly refined character. Column still distillation gives the rum a softer and more polished profile than more robust Jamaican styles, while still retaining enough complexity and character to be enjoyed neat.

On the nose and palate, notes of vanilla, light caramel, citrus freshness, and subtle oak are complemented by the signature Trinidadian touch of fresh mint and gentle spice. The finish is clean, dry, and elegant.
