Description

Charles IV Trinidad Reserve represents the more refined side of Caribbean rum. It is created by blending several Trinidad rums of different ages, resulting in a harmonious and perfectly balanced profile typical of the Trinidad & Tobago style.

The rum was tropically aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels directly in the Caribbean, where it developed smoothness, roundness, and a pleasantly refined character. Column still distillation gives the rum a softer and more elegant profile compared to bold Jamaican styles, while still preserving enough complexity and character for enjoyable sipping neat.

Both the aroma and taste reveal notes of vanilla, light caramel, citrus freshness, and delicate oak, complemented by the signature Trinidad touch of fresh mint and subtle spice. The finish is clean, dry, and elegant.
