Born from a Passion for Rum
GrRUM Distillery
GrRUM Distillery was born from a long-standing passion for the world of rum, its history, production, and the endless diversity of flavours and aromas.
Over time, a hobby became a passion, and that passion evolved into an independent Czech rum brand focused on its own products, limited editions, and exceptional rum projects.
Our goal was never simply to sell rum. We wanted to create products we could genuinely stand behind, follow our own path, and bring to market rums with character, a story, and a clear identity.
Today, GrRUM Distillery develops its own recipes, limited editions, and independent brands, all united by the same philosophy — quality, authenticity, and honest craftsmanship.
Some of our rums are selected directly from individual casks, while others are created in collaboration with our partners according to our own vision and requirements. Every product, however, must meet the same standard — it must be exceptional enough for us to proudly include it in the GrRUM Distillery portfolio.

JAMAICA – Where Our Story Began
While searching for rums for the CHARLES IV. brand, we were looking for something truly exceptional. Jamaica and its unique rum culture became one of the key inspirations that shaped our view of rum and influenced the future direction of GrRUM Distillery.
Today, we combine that inspiration with our own production at GrRUM Distillery and the careful selection of exceptional rums sourced from respected international partners. Through long-term relationships, we have access to rums that have matured for many years in the tropical conditions of the Caribbean and other renowned rum-producing regions around the world.
Whether a rum is created in our distillery or on the other side of the ocean, it must meet one simple criterion — it must be exceptional enough for us to proudly include it in the GrRUM Distillery portfolio.
From Sugar Cane to the Cask
For us, rum does not begin when it reaches the bottle.
We regularly visit the regions where rum production has its roots. We explore the cultivation and processing of sugar cane, visit our partners' distilleries, and observe the traditional production methods that have shaped the world of rum for centuries.
These experiences allow us to better understand what lies behind truly exceptional rum. They help us select outstanding casks, discover new inspirations, and create products with authentic character.
For us, every journey to the source of rum is also a journey in search of new ideas.

Our Cellars
Where time works for rum.
This is where rums destined for future editions and private customer collections quietly mature. Every cask has its own story, character, and pace of ageing. In our cellars, we store both Caribbean rums and spirits from our own production, all intended for further maturation.
A stable environment, natural humidity, and protection from light create the ideal conditions for selected rums to mature slowly and without compromise.
Handcrafted in Every Detail
We focus on small-batch production, limited editions, and private projects. This allows us to give maximum attention to every detail and maintain high quality at every stage of production, from preparation to the final assembly of each bottle.
The Detail That Makes the Difference
Many of our limited editions feature hand-dipped wax-sealed bottles. It is more than just a design element. Each wax-sealed bottle represents careful craftsmanship, originality, and attention to detail.
Because just like the rum itself, its presentation should be exceptional.
