Description

Charles IV. Walnut Reserve is crafted at GrRUM Distillery in the Czech Republic using a proprietary rum blend made from molasses sourced from Cuba and Paraguay, enriched with Jamaican molasses to provide subtle honey notes, greater depth, and a rounded character.

Its unique profile is created through a multi-stage maceration of real walnuts directly in the rum, giving it a natural nutty flavour, gentle bittersweetness, and remarkable depth. The aromatic profile is further enhanced by delicate hazelnut notes and careful use of French oak, which contributes subtle woody nuances and a harmonious finish.

On the nose and palate, notes of rum, walnuts, delicate caramel sweetness, honey, and elegant oak come together seamlessly. The result is a smooth, aromatic, and highly approachable spirit drink with a long, gently nutty finish.

Each batch is produced in limited quantities, with annual production typically not exceeding 1,500–2,000 bottles.
