This limited edition from CHARLES IV. originates from the renowned Jamaican Long Pond Distillery, one of the most distinguished producers of traditional Jamaican rum in the world.

The rum was distilled using the traditional Pot Still method and subsequently matured for 7 years in an American oak ex-bourbon cask in the tropical climate of Jamaica. Tropical maturation contributed to the development of a harmonious and distinctive character, combining traditional Jamaican distillation, fruity notes and the natural influence of oak.

Unlike intensely ester-driven Jamaican rums, this edition offers a more refined aromatic profile while retaining its authentic Jamaican identity. The nose reveals pleasant fruity notes reminiscent of ripe apples, complemented by subtle estery nuances and a delicate touch of oak.

On the palate, fruity flavours unfold alongside gentle spice and the natural intensity of cask strength. The finish is long, expressive and warming, with lingering fruity and woody notes.

The rum was bottled directly from the cask without dilution or filtration, preserving its original character, richness and authenticity. No sugar or other sweeteners have been added.
