GrRUM Distillery was founded from a passion for real rum, honest craftsmanship, and the pursuit of exceptional flavors without compromise.

We are a small Czech distillery focused on small-batch production, traditional craftsmanship, and rums with their own distinctive character.

We do not create mass-produced or anonymous commercial rums. We believe in quality, an honest approach, and attention to detail in every edition created under our name.

Every rum receives our full care — from cask selection and design development to the final refinement of its flavor profile. We believe that great rum is not created by chance, but through time, experience, and the right approach.

For us, rum is more than just a spirit.
It is a world of flavors, traditions, and stories.

That is why we travel directly to the Caribbean and other rum-producing regions around the world in search of exceptional casks, unique distillates, and rums with authentic character.

Some of our rums continue aging in the tropical climate of the Caribbean, where they develop their depth, intensity, and signature profile. Other casks are further matured in the Czech Republic under our supervision or become part of our own blends and limited editions.

Alongside working with selected casks and rums, we also focus on our own small-batch production of distillates and products made from sugarcane, molasses, and other carefully selected ingredients.

We do not create rum for quantity.
We create rum we can truly stand behind.

Behind every edition stands a council of experienced rum makers, tasters, and rum connoisseurs — the Rum Godfathers.

Each of them sees rum differently.
One searches for aroma and layers of fragrance.
Another seeks cask depth, harmony, or the length of the finish.

It is these different perspectives, experiences, and shared tastings that shape the final character of every edition.

It is not about individuals.
It is about a shared passion for real rum.
